Today we’re going to explore easy and effective ways to create false ceilings where required. Ceilings conventionally are done in POP, gypsum, particle board, plywood, or wood. Generally, all of these require extensive time onsite with the NZU framework which has a long installation time followed by the finishing, which again takes a very long time.

Architect Sanjay Puri says, in all these conventional ceilings, contract labor is required to first fit the framework, then install the plywood, wood or gypsum, or POP, and then finish the ceiling with paint in the case of pop, in gypsum, or in a vineyard in the case of plywood, and thereafter polishing in the case of wood or vineyard.

And all of these processes take four to twelve weeks, depending upon the extent and the design, and not to forget a large amount of labor involved on-site. What if there was a prefinished material with a modular framework that required minimal installation time and could be done in merely a few hours?
